Jindabyne is right in the middle of the Alpine Region and the Snowy Mountains is one of the prettiest areas of the South Eastern region of NSW. As you discover in the itinerary, our 5 day coach tour is full of great things to see and do. This tour has been planned so that we can stay in one spot and tour the local areas. To enjoy the Alpine region, we will be staying at the Alpine Resort Motel. We will enjoy great food and friendly attentive staff, and comfortable rooms with private facilities for four wonderful nights. 5 DAY / FOUR NIGHT ALPINE DELIGHTS COACH TOUR TO JINDABYNE
Itinerary Meal Codes: B= Breakfast. L = Lunch. D = Dinner.
Day 1 Sunday Travel to Jindabyne BD (groups from Melbourne or Country slightly different itinerary) Travel south to Queanbeyan for lunch (own expense). We then make our way up through Bredbo and Cooma . At Lake Jindabyne we settle into our accommodation and then enjoy a Welcome drink before dinner. After dinner, cards,TV lounge, or a rest. By the way, any special interests or maybe musical members in your group? If so, let us know and we will see what we can organise. Some may want to rest on the first night? Overnight: Alpine Resort Motel Jindabyne
Day 2 Monday (BLD) Alpine Way Tour A great breakfast starts the day, then we are off toThredbo for morning tea by the Thredbo River (included) . Then on to Geehi and Scammels Spur lookouts, and Murray 1 Power station for viewing. Lunch is at Khancoban and is included. After lunch, its back to Thredbo for a visit . Optional Chairlift ride and short walk to Kosciuszko viewing site. Then back to home and a lovely 3 course Dinner and friendly staff! Table tennis, snooker and other games are available after dinner, or if its a beautiful night, go for an alpine evening walk -–you should see the stars ! Overnight: Alpine Resort Motel Jindabyne.
Day 3 Winery / Cooma Tour (BLD) After a lovely breakfast , we head for Kunama Gallery, for a visit to local art on display. we go to Cooma to explore the area. There are a lot of people who have travelled through in the 70's or 80's and it will be good to revisit this lovely town. We are in Cooma for lunch. Then off to Manfreds Snowy River Winery – . Then back home to a hearty 3 course dinner, and a rest. After Dinner, join us in a visit to Jindabyne Bowling Club for a night out. Overnight: Alpine Resort Motel Jindabyne.
Day 4 Wednesday Movie/ Perisher Valley/Charlottes Pass/ Lake Cruise Tour (BLD) Meet for Breakfast . Our first stop today is the new National Parks Headquaters and Cinema complex for a viewing of the Snowy Mountains and its history. Then we are off to morning tea, and then Perisher Valley, and Charlottes Pass Lookout to view Mount Kosciuszko ranges and the Snowy River. Off to lunch, included, then visit Gaden Trout Hatchery – beautiful setting. Then we go to Michael Scott Lees Art Gallery, and Nuggets Crossing Shopping centre, for a look around. Late afternoon, back to home for the a rest, a great dinner, then relax ! Overnight: Alpine Resort Motel Jindabyne. Day 5 Thursday Jindabyne to Sydney (B) or Melbourne After breakfast, we board our coach for the return trip to Sydney. Our journey home will take us along the Hume Highway. We make your holiday a lasting memory . Tell others when you get home what a good time you had!
